Jubilee Special 2025 - on the road to Rome

Towards the Jubilee 2025 with Hotel Miramonti: A Unique Pilgrimage Experience

The Jubilee 2025 will officially begin on December 24, 2024, at 7:00 PM with the Opening Rite of the Holy Door of the Papal Basilica of St. Peter, led by the Holy Father. He will then preside over the celebration of the Midnight Mass of the Lord's Nativity inside the Basilica.

For 2025, we invite you to discover the sacred sites of our region:

  • The millenary Cathedral of Sarsina, a destination for pilgrims and those seeking healing of body and spirit. Visitors come to receive the blessing with the “Chain of Saint Vicinius” – a metal collar traditionally attributed to the thaumaturgic Saint, bishop, and patron of the city. It is also the starting point of the splendid "Saint Vicinius Way."
  • The Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta in Bagno di Romagna, home to the "Sacred Corporal," a relic of a Eucharistic miracle that occurred in 1412.
  • The Church of S. Pietro in Vinculis in S. Piero in Bagno:
The Jubilee Church of 2025 is the parish church whose construction was commissioned in 1897. However, due to the grandeur of the building, it could only be consecrated in 1936. The church houses several interesting works of art.

  • The Sanctuary of Corzano: Just outside the town of San Piero in Bagno, about 2 kilometers up the rounded hill, lies Corzano – a place where nature, history, and religion harmoniously come together. Here stand the remains of a castle and a small sanctuary, expanded during the 19th century to honor an image of the "Madonna and Child," depicted in a 15th-century fresco that is still deeply venerated by the local population. The site can also be reached on foot via the medieval mule track. The ancient path is about 1 km long and is marked by 14 large bronze Stations of the Cross created by the artist Carmelo Puzzolo from San Piero. These stations are identical to those he designed for the Apparition Hill of the Medjugorje Sanctuary.

  • The sacred hermitage of the Camaldolese Monks, nestled in the woods of the Casentino Forest Park, alongside the nearby Monastery and the ancient Pharmacy.
  • The sacred art of Piero della Francesca, with masterpieces on display at the San Domenico Museums in Forlì, and a visit to his birthplace, Borgo San Sepolcro, just a 40-minute drive away.
  • On your way to Rome, a stop in Assisi is a must, to visit the Papal Basilica and the Sacred Convent of St. Francis.

Hotel Miramonti is perfectly situated in the heart of this ideal itinerary, offering an opportunity for a "stop-over" or an extended stay to rediscover spirituality and inner peace.
